FERMENTATION 101

Join us for an introduction to fermentation! Fermentation has many health benefits and is used in the production of alcoholic beverages, bread, yogurt, sauerkraut, apple cider vinegar and kombucha. Gut health and benefits of home-made ferments

Join us as we taste test a variety of fermented items, and learn the art of quick pickling and take home a quick pickled jar of We'll be quick pickling a variety of root vegetables since that's what's in season. Customers will be able to create their own colorful jar of shredded and sliced veggies like carrots, radish, turnip, beet, onions, etc. Leave with the knowledge and confidence to go home and get fermenting!

Wine and snacks, and kombucha (one of our favorite fermented things) will be provided!

This workshop will be led by Sierra Clyde and will be a hands-on learning experience where you will walk away with the knowledge and tangible skill of safe and practical fermentation.
